Once you’ve mastered the basics, intermediate surf sessions are perfect for carving turns and improving your surfing. Offering playful rights and lefts, intermediate surf sessions at The Point feature our low to mid-grade turns settings, ideal for novice surfers progressing up from cruiser sessions, and for intermediate surfers with barrels in their sights. Priced from $69 per session.

INTERMEDIATE LESSON
1.0m – 1.5m Maximum 6 per lesson
Designed for intermediate surfers who want to enhance aspects of their surfing style and technique, and master the fundamental building blocks of performance surfing. Held during Intermediate Sessions at The Point with a maximum of 6 participants per instructor, you’ll focus on developing wave entry and speed generation skills, and improving your turns, snaps and cutbacks. Priced from $89 per lesson.

Advanced Session
1.6-2.0m 12-16 Sec. Rides
Offering steep, vertical walls and barrels, our Advanced Sessions at The Point deliver perfection on tap. And if you just want to whack big turns on critical sections, our new Advanced Turns sessions are now available. With a maximum of 18 surfers on each side, per 1 hour session, you’re guaranteed to score. Priced from $79 per session.

Expert SESSION
1.8m-2.0m (and thick) 12-16 sec. rides
Want to surf our biggest, thickest and heaviest barrelling waves? Then our expert surf sessions are for you. Surf three variations of Beast Mode, including Beast Plus when it’s offshore. Surfer numbers are capped at 12 on each side of The Point, so you’ll score around 18 waves in a 1 hour session. Priced at $129 per session.
